Triple P Positive Parenting Program
A family-based prevention and intervention program for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 16 years of age. Triple P provides strategies for managing children's behavior, preventing future problems, and building strong relationships. It utilizes evidence-based behavioral principles such as positive reinforcement, effective discipline techniques (avoiding harsh punishment), and promoting positive parent-child interactions to modify parenting behaviors and improve child outcomes. The program addresses key risk factors like family conflict, parental stress, and poor family management, while strengthening protective factors such as parental attachment and coping skills. Different levels of intervention cater to varying family needs and community contexts.
